Why hire a Personal Chef?

When someone says to you that they have hired a personal chef, what is the first thing that comes to mind?  Most likely something such as any of the following phrases:

 Well, the truth is that YOU can have a personal chef and not have to spend a fortune or be a high-paid superstar.  Let me help you break it down a little bit…

 Let’s start off by figuring out how much money you would spend by going out.  If you look at any decent restaurant, the average meal price is anywhere from $10-25 (plus tax, tip and drinks).  But, there is a catch.  YOU have to drive to the location, figure out what you want based on a limited menu selection, and get something that you may or may not like.  And, what if you are on a special diet, a vegetarian or simply want to eat healthier?  Well, then you have to search through the same limited menu and find out if there is something that you would want.  Sometimes there may not be anything appetizing to you and in the end any ole entrée will work.  Now, don’t get me wrong, going out to eat does have its merits.  You do not have the hassle of purchasing the ingredients, making the dishes or cleaning up the mess. 

Next, let’s look at coming home and making meals.  First off, you have to figure out what your family would like, but if you are pressed for time, a menu would be something a little too time consuming.  So, what ends up happening?  More likely than not, you go to the grocery store and buy a bunch of groceries that in the end will just tide you over for now. 

Ok, let’s say you have the menu and you bought the groceries, now what?  Well, here comes the cooking.  You rush home from work, throw something together real quick, sit down to eat, and in just a few minutes you realize that there are a million other things that you HAVE to do.  You then turn around to look at the kitchen and it looks like a bomb exploded in there.  You have dirty dishes everywhere.
